The TYT TH-UV88 is a solid, economical Dual Band UHF/VHF analog amateur radio for everyday ham use at an entry-level price. With 200 channels and up to 5 watts of power, the UV88 is an excellent choice for ham radio operators who need the features and versatility of the popular Baofeng UV-5R but with a more mature look, professional feel, and greater durability.
The TH-UV88 features 200 programmable channels with support for 2-meter and 70-cm ham frequencies. CTCSS/DCS and 1750 Hz call tone. Other features include dual wait, dual standby, FM radio, DTMF encode/decode, remote stun/kill/activate, and key lock. The UV88 also features a dot-matrix LCD display, built-in VOX (Voice Operated Transmit) for hands-free operation, and a high-illumination flashlight.
The TYT TH-UV88 includes a rechargeable Li-Ion battery pack, belt clip, removable antenna, microphone, drop-in battery charger, AC adapter, owner's manual, and a?90 days warranty from Baofengradio.ca.
